Cubo Garutti

The Piccolo Museion hosts three unpublished projects signed by three photographers linked in different ways to the South Tyrolean territory.

Everyone conducts research on three different territories and the people who have escaped from these lands, have arrived there or are resisting them. Between a documentary style and an artistic approach, the series of exhibitions revolves around the relationship between photographic language and current events.

The first project is that of Ziyah Gafić (Sarajevo, 1980). These are photographs taken from his latest project Heartland, a research that the Bosnian photographer has conducted since 2001 on the places, lands, cities, villages and people of Bosnia and Herzegovina approximately twenty years after the end of the war.
