03.—24.09.2015

The last screening on the media façade is a project in collaboration with two important players in the world of up and coming contemporary art: Careof and Viafarini from Milan.

The video programme for the month of September is curated by Martina Angelotti (artistic director of Careof) and Simone Frangi (artistic director of Viafarini). The programme conceived by the two curators revolves around the themes of sleep and hypnosis.

The work of four artists from different generations and backgrounds explores these states of consciousness, and post hypnosis in particular, analysing their discursive and political potential, their physiological and social dynamics and their poetics. The two most recent works of Danilo Correale and Basma Alsharif have been teamed with two older pieces by Robert Breer and Paolo Gioli.
