Hans Glauber

From the Mechanical City 1963 – 1973

Exhibition
09.03.—03.11.2013

Hans Glauber (Dobbiaco, 1933 – Bolzano, 2008) is known for his ongoing commitment to environmental issues, above all through the “Dobbiaco Interviews”.

His work as a photographer from 1963 to 1973, on the other hand, is less well known. The Museion exhibition presents 50 works, including screenprints and lithography prints. The Prisma gallery of the Südtiroler Künstlerbund will be showing 15 photographic works from the Museion collections Museion. All of  Glauber’s works start life as photographs of typewriters or calculators, worked on  using solarization techniques or collage.
