A, b, c …: Letters in freedom, exhibition view, Museion 2009
29.09.2009—27.11.2011

A, b, c …: Letters in freedom presents around one hundred works of “verbo-visual” art, a form of art based on the letters of the alphabet.

The main section of the exhibition contains works created between the 1950s and 1970s, while others range from the 1920s to the present. Museion’s studio collection, the source of the works exhibited in this show, boasts around 2500 works, 2000 of which come from the Archivio di Nuova Scrittura deposited in the Museion in 2000 by the collector Paolo Della Grazia, while the other 500 are the property of Museion.
