ACADEMIAE, the artist Judith Hopf is also in the commission

Judith Hopf, who opens her exhibition at Museion in September, is among the artists invited to choose emerging young people for ACADEMIÆ. The biennial event, which opens on Friday 1 July in Fortezza, is dedicated to students from international art academies, schools and universities and aims to offer young artists a platform for artistic exchange, discussion and new ideas.

Ivan Murzin, Ada Racza and Franziska Wildt are the artists chosen by Hopf to present their works in the evocative spaces of the Fortezza/Franzensfeste fort.
Judith Hopf is a teacher of visual arts at the Städelschule in Frankfurt. Her show at Museion will be her first solo show in an Italian museum (opening 30/09).
