Contemporary art opens its doors once again: on Wednesday 8 March for Women’s Day, entry to the exhibitions is free for all women.

The invitation is to visit the personal exhibition of the French artist Lili Reynaud-Dewar, who deals with the theme of cultural identity in her works. In particular, the artist draws attention to the Cyborg Manifesto of the feminist Donna Haraway. Published in 1985, the essay hopes to overcome binary thinking and oppositions such as nature/culture, man/woman, right/wrong, truth/illusion or self/others, evoking a future without discrimination. Several excerpts from Donna Haraway’s manifesto are shown on large format panels and posters, which the public can take with them.

However, the offer is an opportunity to also visit the exhibition on the photographic collection “The strength of photography”, which deals with themes such as the staging of oneself and one’s body, identity and the sharing of intimate and private life in the light of works by various internationally renowned artists such as Eleanor Antin, Vanessa Beecroft, Letizia Cariello, VALIE EXPORT, Isa Genzken, Nan Goldin, Roni Horn, Joan Jonas, Elke Krystufek, Ketty La Rocca, Zoe Leonard, Ana Lupas, Zanele Muholi, Brigitte Niedermair, Niki de Saint Phalle, Jana Sterbak.
