In episode 9, Reece Cox interviews Whitney Wei.

Whitney Wei is the Editor-in-Chief of the electronic music platform Resident Advisor, and former Editor-in-Chief of Electronic Beats. Wei writes about club culture and experimental dance music scenes from around the world. Her words have appeared in The Guardian, Vogue US, Pitchfork, Mixmag, FACT, Highsnobiety, and Numéro Berlin, among others. In 2020, she served as a mentor for the Factory Berlin, Sónar+D. In this episode she will share with us her experiences of managing an international dance media outlet, her point of view on the potential of scenes in community building and civic activism, and a look at the current state of club culture.
