Pavel Milyakov, the Moscow-based producer also known as Buttechno is a prolific exponent of the Russian electronic music scene: he has released leftfield techno, experimental, and ambient music for labels such as Smalltown Supersound, The Trilogy Tapes, Berceuse Heroique. He was one of the initiators and collaborators of seminal parties such as Nii, Science & Art, and labels such as Gost Zvuk and RASSVET. Through a variety of activities and collaborations, since the mid-10s he has established himself as one of the pivotal names in the Russian underground renaissance internationally.
