Culture managers from Austria visiting the Museion
More than twenty directors of museums, festivals and cultural institutions from Lower Austria belonging to the NĂ–KU (Niederösterreichische Kulturwirtschaft) visited Museion today (27.05.2013) as part of a three-day cultural excursion in South Tyrol. Illustrating the museum’s work to sector experts was director Letizia Ragaglia, who presented “the Museion machine” and its functioning in a report together with Margit Oberrauch, administrative director and Brita Köhler, cultural mediator.
And it is precisely the activities and excellent numbers of the mediation that have aroused great interest among the participants, who consider Museion “One of the creative engines in the rich South Tyrolean cultural scene”. Among the visitors were Cornelia Lamprechter, director of the “Kunstmeile” in Krems, Christiane Krejs, artistic director of the art gallery Kunstraum Niederösterreich, as well as Peter Weiss, co-director of the “NĂ– Museum Betriebes”, the company that brings together various cultural institutions in Lower Austria.
